Forest Lodges

Set within a woodland landscape, Forest Lodges explores a sensitive relationship between contemporary architecture and the natural environment. The design takes its cues from the character of the surrounding forest, creating a series of understated forms that sit comfortably within their setting rather than competing with it.

The lodges are conceived as places of retreat, offering a strong connection between internal spaces and the landscape beyond. Carefully positioned openings frame views through the trees and bring natural light deep into the accommodation, while the architectural form and material palette establish a warm, restrained character appropriate to the woodland setting.

The project balances privacy and shelter with openness to the landscape, creating an immersive experience in which architecture, materiality and nature work together. The result is a calm contemporary retreat designed to encourage occupants to slow down and engage with their surroundings.
