Brookfield House

Modern House Extension & Alterations | Gloucestershire

Brookfield House is a contemporary residential extension and refurbishment designed to enhance the relationship between the existing home, its internal living spaces and the surrounding landscape.

The project introduces a modern architectural addition that complements the character of the original property while establishing a clear contemporary identity. Generous areas of glazing bring natural light deep into the interior and strengthen visual connections with the garden, creating bright and inviting spaces for everyday family life.

The reconfigured layout improves the flow between key living areas, with the extension providing additional space while opening the home towards its external setting. A carefully considered material palette and clean architectural detailing create a restrained contemporary aesthetic, allowing the new intervention to sit confidently alongside the existing building.

The result is a thoughtfully transformed family home that combines the qualities of the original property with contemporary space, light and functionality.
